Sanjeevi Nutrition Program

Cooking and community engagement videos

Viluthu Center for Human Resource Development

Viluthu is a Sri Lanka based NGO that works with war-affected women heads of households and marginalised communities in the North and East of the Island. Since the war, Viluthu has empowered local communities to demand good governance, language rights and access to services and justice. They have also been central to the drafting and passing of legislation to protect the rights of vulnerable communities.

Sanjeevi is a health and nutrition program that wants to reconnect local communities with their traditional cuisine, but reinforce them with modern nutrition science so that they can incorporate healthier and more affordable ingredients.

The series of cooking videos and community engagement films is still in post production, and features communities and recipes from Puttalam, Mullaitivu, and Mannar.
